The phenomenon is a result of natural variances in heat during the growth of a single crystal, causing it to form as both amethyst and citrine. We set this large emerald cut ametrine in a clean split shank design and swathed it in white diamond as a unique statement piece. Created in 14 karat white gold with 10.43 carat ametrine and 0.97 carat diamond.
